The Everest Three High Passes trek is an exciting and adventurous journey through the Everest region. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to take in spectacular views of the region and enjoy the thrill of reaching high altitudes. Some of the major attractions of this trek include Sagarmatha National Park (a world heritage site), the Gokyo Lakes, Renjo La pass, Kongma La Pass, Kala Patthar, and Everest Base Camp. As you walk through the Everest region, you'll be treated to close-up views of some of the tallest peaks on Earth, including Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Cho yo, Mount Nuptse, and Mount Ama Dablam, among others.
During the trek, you'll also pass through traditional Sherpa settlements and colorful Buddhist monasteries, giving you the chance to learn more about Sherpa festivals, culture, traditions, and lifestyle. You'll be able to enjoy local traditional dishes at tea houses along the way, and you'll have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of rhododendron, birch, and pine forests. The presence of rare species of flora and fauna in Sagarmatha National Park adds to the scenic beauty of the region. As you journey over the Renjo La, Cho La, and Kongma La passes, you'll be able to take in the exquisite beauty of the Himalayan vista and enjoy stunning views of the Gokyo lakes, Ngozumba glacier, and Khumbu glacier from vantage points such as Gokyo Ri and Kala Patthar.
