Mera Peak (6,461m/21,190ft) is one of the famous trekking peaks in Nepal that offers an incredible climbing experience. The trek starts with a walk through the trekking trail before reaching the base camp. From the base camp, the climb continues to the high camp and finally to the summit. Upon reaching the summit, you will be rewarded with a stunning view of Mount Everest, Mount Cho Yu, Makalu, Nuptse, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and many other peaks in the Khumbu region.
The Mera Peak trek is more challenging than other treks as it includes climbing the peak to the summit. However, prior experience of scaling up mountains is not required to undertake this journey as it is not difficult to climb and very little technical knowledge will be enough. You do not need to be an experienced climber to undertake the Mera Peak climb, but good physical health is necessary.
